Hello friends!
I have safely returned from Seattle and regained a decent amount of sleep to get my mind right to write this post.

Overall, I was surprised by how active this trip was.
I was anticipating lots of rain and a general reluctance to go sight-seeing while soaked.
However, my girlfriends and I brought some Los Angeles sun with us to Seattle and the entire trip turned out to be a dry, travel-friendly, and overall unforgettable one!

A big thank you to my ladies: Esther, Haila & Mijean who made the weekend more enjoyable than I could have imagined.

Here's the visual recap:

Upon arrival, we had to step out to grab something to munch and sip on...
God bless the excessive amounts of mirrors we took 1480957 selfies with

The next morning, we woke up early to brunch- the best and our favorite meal of the day at Lola.
Eggs benedict with smashed garlic potatoes

My little sister & I

After we ate, we headed out to Pike Place

...I made everyone stand around as we watched these little slices of heaven come to life
(thanks btw)

Hi Estherrrr

Even though it was a gloomy day outside, Pike Place was full of vibrant colors and it made us all very happy

Then we were off to Piroshky to try the meat piesss

And as an ex-Barista, I had to check out the very first Starbucks

To be honest, I don't know what I was expecting... but it was quite underwhelming.
I think the Starbucks by my office has more pizzazz...
Interesting nonetheless.

Then it was our obligatory shopping spree in downtown, and then back to the hotel to muster up some energy to go out for the Seattle night life... but first.
We had to take a selfie.
We were very impressed by the hotel gym.
However, the amount of walking we did with all the inclines would suffice for a weekend workout.
I should only speak for myself.

We weren't really sure what to expect as we continuously are reminded that the LA night scene is vastly different than that of any other city in the US... we opted for dance-friendly boots and some breathing room to boogie.

We even dolled up our fingers...
Thanks Esther for the ring-inspiration.
I now have 50.

As for the rest of the night... SFW photos only ;)

That pretty much sums up the night...

And as for our recovery rate, I was very impressed at our ability to pull ourselves out of bed early enough to go get some coffee at Victrola

That's my donut btw.
And it was amazing.

On our last day, our newly made Seattle friends were kind enough to take us around and show us some great spots to eat and visit before we boarded our flight back to LA...
Lunch at the High Life... obvi exhausted but trying to keep up with the rest of the crew who has a scary amount of energy on such little sleep while also being severely dehydrated.
You guys are nuts.

Earl Grey tea & Stumptown coffee ice cream with thin mint crumbles on top at Molly Moo's

And a very thoughtful walk around the park before heading out...
 Thank you Appa and Michael!

And thank you Seattle for being so amazing.

Can't wait for our next adventure.
See you ladies soon.
