Cheers to the Weekend.

Hello friends~!

This weekend was so much fun!
Lots of friends, family and fashion as we kick off LA Fashion Week here...
I am very excited to share events for this week to come!

Ladies and gents in LA, when you need a certain item for your wardrobe, a general item such as.. scarves, and you're not looking for any particular brand, heading out to Fashion District is a smart choice for a huge selection at deals you can be happy with as long as you can haggle.

This Saturday, my sisters and I went in search of our own special items in mind.
{Shorts: Car Mar from LF Larchmont, Boots: MakeMeChic, Sunnies: Ray Bans}

When going out to the Fashion District, I need sturdy boots to keep me going longer without any distraction.
You want to be able to move quickly with little regard to the trash and questionable liquids around the downtown streets.

Yeah it's not always so fabulous.
I'll be showing you my goodies in posts to come.

Now for my favorite surprise in that trip:
Isn't he adorable?!
I couldn't find his little feet...

And we cannot start off a shopping spree unless we eat right prior to.
Introducing: my carne asada nachos.
I was in love with the nachos. And the nachos were in love with me.
Enough said.

Later that evening, we celebrated my friend Jenny's birthday @ Agency in Hollywood
One of my besties, Amanda & I.
And plenty of red lights.

{Necklace: F21, Skirt: H&M, Clutch & bracelet: LoveStory}
Channeling some DSquared.

And then some recovery time with my sisters come Sunday afternoon.
Nothing beats a great lunch and downtime for a lazy relaxing day.
{Tank Top: H&M, Necklace: NumberA Boutique}

{Ankle Boots: F21}
Mini donut to the left, coffee to the right.
That's all I really need to be happy.

And that wraps up the majority of my weekend.
This week is stirring up a lot of special events before my birthday next week and I couldn't be more excited!

After having one of those late night conversations with my parents, they suggested one thing to me as I look forward to another great year, which is to focus wholeheartedly on my goal and to work endlessly to accomplish it.

In reflection, I realize now more than ever, the importance to focusing on one thing at a time, versus glorifying the busy-ness of work with one too many projects.

My parents told me the tale of two rabbits:

Just some food for thought to kick off your Monday.

I hope you all enjoy your week!
