Hoodie.

Hi friends!

I know it's been a while since a personal post, but with the combination of huge work changes and me slowly getting the sniffles, I feel like burying myself in a hoodie.

There's something so urban chic about wearing a hood just the right way.
And with a mild chill settling about my neighborhood, I'm wearing a hoodie all week.

Ever since I was a kid, I swore I could hide from the world once I shrouded myself in a hoodie.
Still sounds legit.

Have a lovely Tuesday!

Cropped.

I was never one for the big chunky knitted sweaters.
As great as they look on a winter day, it just wasn't my cup of tea as it largely gave me a complex that I looked like I was being swallowed alive by my own sweater.

So imagine my delight when I stumbled across this great street style fashion where we can combine a cropped knitted sweater with an extra long collared shirt for the perfect (and comfortable) day-time look:

I did my own rendition of this look earlier this week and I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy and comfortable this look is.

Try it out.

Liu Wen.

I just love her.

And I love these Diesel ads.
Remember I told you I bought a scanner?

Doesn't she look great?!
Kinda addicted.

To my scanner.

Truth or Dare.

It's not enough to be an actress/singer/clothing designer.
Madonna must be a shoe designer as well.

I admire the inner mogul inside anyone.
But what do you think of her designs?

Floral Pants.

Spring trends point to floral pants being an item to nab.

To be honest, any type of print on my derriere makes me a bit nervous because it has its propensity to make certain curves accentuated when that really wouldn't have been my intention.

So I take this trend cautiously and there is no online shopping with this one.
I must try it on to believe it'll be flattering.
Sorry. No blind faith with this one!

But these ladies give me hope as they effortlessly pull it off:

I like it with the leather.

With lace.

Okay.
I have to share some exciting news with you.
I finally bought a scanner.
This means 2 things:

1.) I can share even more lovely inspiration with you!
2.) I am going to lose a lot of sleep playing with this thing.

So here's a floral jumper idea from Vogue:
I don't know about the jumper, but I do love the teacup!

Would you wear this trend?

Contrast.

With so much color blocking out and about, it's hard to pin point two colors that will always look fabulous.

For me, a simple red and blue will do:

Baby Blue.

Today is a heavenly heavenly day.
I believe a week ago it was raining, but today is an amazing 80 degree day in sunny SoCal.
I must say... we're a bit spoiled over here!

With spring on the horizon and the weather indicating it coming sooner than later, it's no secret that pastels will be the dominant trend for fashion ladies.

Although I'm more of a primary & neon color lady, I can still appreciate the lighter hues that bring variety.
Of all the pastels though, I must say baby blue is my favorite:

And isn't that gold skirt divine??

Dominating the runways this Spring:
Chanel

Preen

Elie Saab

Oscar de la Renta

I find it quite darling actually.
Enjoy your beautiful Sunday!
