Armani Privé.

There are only two words necessary to describe the Spring 2011 Couture collection from Armani Privé:
Liquid Cool.

Giorgio Armani's inspiration: the gleam of gemstones.

My favorite part?
Those fabulous hubcap looking hats!

Spring 2011 Couture is amazing!
Next up is Dior's breathtaking collection.

Red Hot.

With the new year, came new resolutions to seriously try to wear everything I have in my closet before shopping for new gear.

With that arduous task at hand, I'm in the mood to pull out my red pants.
Some inspiration for you to grab a pair and feel fabulous wearing these bold bottoms:

Time for a midnight fashion show in my room!

Derek Lam.

What a lovely collection from Derek Lam.
I love the pink and I can't believe I'm even saying that!
But his designs make me want to wear them.

Very wearable for the streets, yes?

My top 2 fashion icons:

I'd just like to spend one month in their closet.
Just one month.

With the abundance of women's fashion on my blog, here's a tasty diversion into the world of men's fashion a la Armani models in Milan:

{Carolines mode}

One of my favorite collections for pre-Fall 2011 has to be Versace.

I mean... it's only FABULOUS!

Golden Globes.

With the red carpet, it's always either "Oooo" or "What the heck?"

Fashion is an art, and always up for interpretation.
So who am I to bash what people call red carpet roadkill?

Rather than highlighting the No's of last night, here's a small tribute to those who I believe did it right.

Lots of green!
I love it!

And I'm so glad to see someone wearing one of the Elie Saab numbers from the runway!

Of all the cities in Los Angeles County to spend a lovely afternoon with, I'd have to say that I love Pasadena the best.
You can just feel its separation from the glitzy style of Hollywood, but still staying classy with its rich history and huge trees...

[Jacket: H&M, Jeans: Se7en, Sunnies: Fendi]

After successfully locating a non-water-based shabu shabu eatery, my little one and I walked around Old Town trying to ignore the cold weather (unsuccessfully).

[Bag: Francesco Biasia]

 [Wedges: Qupid]

 [Necklace: F21]

Can I just say that I am in love with my wedges!
They really are the most comfortable yet fashionable style of women's shoes out there.

But sadly, I am on a shopping hiatus until I get my closet under control.
Although I am already going through withdrawal symptoms, I promise to keep my word.
I'm so sad!

But on a more exciting note, one of my favorite fashion bloggers/photographers found my little blog and was kind enough to comment!
Check out his blog here!
The world wide web is an amazing thing...

Happy hump day!

I missed being out in Hollywood on Saturday afternoons.

[Jacket & Grey Sweater: F21, Shorts: Make Me Chic, Tights: Target]

I'm not really a pink kinda gal, but we all thought it was kind of fun.

 [Necklace: F21]

[Wedges: Bamboo]

Saturday was supposed to be a sisterly outing, but with the big sis out for an important event, who better to join us than our cousin, Natalie!

Looking very fly~

My little sister:

And all the food we continued to eat.
All day.

Even though it's cracked, I thought... it was a rather delightful and quaint mug.
(I still like my Bux coffee better though...)

My winter shrimp pesto pasta.
My little one's... sandwich.
The only reason why she ordered it, is because there was bacon.

On to my chocolate mousse cake.

With the start of a new year, I'm definitely looking forward to new challenges and reuniting with old friends.

And look what my little sis made for me!!

I hope you all are enjoying the start of the year!
More fabulous fashion and fun to come.

Inspiration Board: Sister Outing.

Ever since I was little, when I'd get excited about an upcoming event, it became absolutely imperative I plan my outfit(s) in advance.

When I was 10, I'd be drawing my chicken-scratch sketches on ripped out sheets of notebook paper with colored pencils.

But now:

God bless technology.

And God bless sisterhood.
Its crazy ups and downs, breakups and makeups, one thing still remains:

I can't wait for this weekend!
