I have issues.

With afternoon snacking.

It is extremely problematic to my weight-less program I always intend on implementing.

However, they make me happy.
The sight of their delightful colors, which always draw me back to my childhood, and their scrumptious sugary taste are irresistable.

So I guess my self-control will just have to wait.

I'm 25 years old, and I never cook.

Up until now.

This week, I began to crave a Caprese Salad.

Rather than running to the nearest Italian restaurant (which is what I 110% would have done), I manned up and MADE one myself!

I think the colors are wonderful.

And the basil smelled fresh and sharp.

It's just so pretty and yummy.

My desire to cook?

Annabelle & the Shawl.

Today, Annabelle and I got up early to play.

[Parka: Gap, Sweater: Khol's, Shoes: Nine West, Jeggings: Love Culture]

She brought her LV shawl to come out to play too!

Isn't she just so fabulous?

[Sunglasses: Maui Jim Aviators "Lanai"]

[Earrings: Forever]

This is Annabelle saying, "Isn't it just so BIG? There's just so many things you can do with it..."

In my own limited fashion sense, I just thought... you could wear it like... a scarf?
But she has bigger ideas than me.
We will see...

She insists... she must have one in every color.

But when it just looks that good, how could you not?

J.Crew's newest arrivals are perfect.

I want/need/must have the following:
Tasca Zip Cotton Cardigan

Piped-and-Twisted Pocket Cardigan

Denim Vest

Lightweight Cotton Tunic Top

Now, normally, I find that most female Asian models for catalogues are kinda cheesy looking.
But I like her.
And her just-woke-up hair is perfect.

Spring Perfection.

It's been a rough week.
Work + not feeling well = more Mijean, less Jessica.
But she's a little treat, isn't she?

[Dress: Piko Clothing, Belt: Vintage, Bag: Marc Jacobs, Shoes: Charlotte Ruse]

I'm still a noob with the camera. So forgive me for the white contrast.

This was us scrambling around the parking lot on our way to buy a cake.
While Jennifer was inside getting impatient with us.

[Shirt/Dress: H&M, Belt: our mother's, Boots: Zara]

We were told by the cleaning crew that we would need to leave the premesis.
But we insisted, it was for a professional photo shoot.
Me. Professional. Ha!

[Watch: Macy's, Bracelets: Brass Plum]

4 days and 2 boxes of Contac later, I'm feeling much better.

I had one hour today inbetween the boyfriend and dinner with my family.

I used it wisely.

Red Velvet.

If there is not a Crumbs within 20 miles from you, you need to move.

My personal favorite: Half Baked.

Crumbs calls this the Cosmo. I call it the Barbie Cupcake.

The colors are just too cute.

Even though each store is made to make you feel like you're in confection heaven, I favor the Larchmont location.

Could it be because it is adjacent to one of the cutest boutiques on Larchmont?

Melrose & Fairfax.

Today was the perfect day to stroll down Melrose Avenue and check out the Swap Meet on Fairfax.

Mijean [Shirt: Forever, Slacks: Volcom, Sandals: Steve Madden, Belt: Express]
Myself: [Shirt: L.A. Made, Shorts: American Eagle, Sandals: Bumper, Necklace: Forever, Sunglasses: Ray Bans]

[Necklace: Forever]

We were mildly disappointed by the Fairfax Swap Meet.

Instead, we ended up signing a petition to increase taxes on cigarettes to increase funds towards Breast Cancer Research.
I also got a free bag of Cool Ranch Corn Nuts. Yummy breath!

My peacock necklace wasn't cooperating with the cool breeze.
Mijean's OCD took over, and she couldn't leave it to the wind.

I didn't get the wear-nautical-memo.

I have to say, my favorite part of shopping on Melrose, is the street I intentionally love to park on.

It's not as scenic as a Windows Desktop picture, but it's unusually quiet and serene while being adjacent to one of the busiest streets in Los Angeles.
It's special to me.
